Chuck Hahn Takes Mystery out of the Internet for Clients
Chuck Hahn likes to take the mystery out of the Internet for SBDC clients. He hopes to teach clients that Internet marketing is about much more than just having a website and how to effectively market a business using the Internet.
For 30 years he worked for Edison International, the fourth largest utility in the U.S., where he had a variety of positions including manager. While at Edison International, Chuck was able to save the company $300 million by developing a major corporate strategic sourcing initiative.
Chuck also has extensive experience working for SBDCs. He has worked for SBDCs since 1997, including a stint as the director of an SBDC in California. Through his strategic planning efforts, he was able generate the funding to become a fully funded Small Business Development Center, with three offices serving two counties. He has worked with thousands of small businesses providing business consulting and a wide range of seminars and workshops. He is a small business specialist for the Aurora Small Business Development Center and was named the 2010 Business Counselor of the Year by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
"I love helping small businesses," he said. "I like to say that I spent half of my life making a living and the other half making a difference."
Hahn assists clients with effective Internet marketing, e-commerce and overall business strategy. He has worked with hundreds of small business owners, providing business consulting and a wide range of business seminars and workshops. Hahn is the founder of Hahn Consulting Group, which creates visual marketing tools with a focus on Internet and e-commerce tactics.
"Chuck is one of our best SBDC trainers. He can teach the Business Start-up or marketing workshops to those with a beginning idea to start a business to those who have been in business for many years. He is a wonderful addition to our training group," said Marcia McGilley, South Metro Denver SBDC Executive Director. "We work closely with the Aurora SBDC, as it is a satellite location to our center. Since Chuck is a consultant in that office, we often refer Aurora clients to Chuck for one-on-one consulting."
"Small business is the backbone of our economy," Chuck said. "It is important we support small business and I am tickled to death that I can help."
Chuck's words of wisdom: Think beyond the website. Marketing your business on the Internet is so much more than just a website.
