South Metro Denver Chamber & SBDC Moving to New Office Space!
After spending 10 years in its current location, the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce is moving. And, the SBDC will be going with them!
The Chamber, which houses the South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center, recently signed a lease on new office space in the Streets at Southglenn development - right across the street from its current location.
Located by Sears, University of Phoenix, and the interactive children's fountain, the new ground-level office will feature an open-space floor plan, four meeting rooms, a larger conference center, and an outdoor patio area.
Throughout the month of July, construction crews will be moving cabinetry, light fixtures and furniture out of the current location and into the new one. Construction is expected to be completed at the end of July, with the Chamber and SBDC staff moving-in the first week of August.
"We are grateful to the South Metro Denver Chamber for being our host and we are thrilled about moving across the street to the new office space with them. We will have a larger space for workshops and an increased opportunity to assist clients in conference rooms," said Marcia McGilley, South Metro Denver SBDC Director.
The South Metro Denver SBDC will continue serving clients as the move progresses, working to minimize any disruptions in its day-to-day operations. If there is a need for client appointments during the move, we will be utilizing the Arapahoe Library District's Southglenn branch and one of its smaller conference rooms. We will keep you updated on the move, the location of appointments and when you can come visit us in the new space.
