Colorado Leading Edge: NxLeveL Business Training Programs
The South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center offers the Colorado Leading Edge: NxLeveL Business Training for both existing small business owners, as well as those who are interested in starting a new business.
NxLeveL™ for Entrepreneurs is a 12-week, intensive business planning course designed for existing entrepreneurs seeking knowledge and practical skills for managing and/or growing their business. Each participant receives 5 sessions of one-on-one consulting outside of class time to help enhance the educational experience. This class is aimed at helping business owners who have been operating for over 18 months. Participants graduate with a fully executed business plan!

- Planning & Research: Entrepreneurial Essentials
- Organizational Matters: Management & Legal Structure
- Marketing: Market Research, Analysis & Understanding
- Advertising: Strategies, Tactics & Implementation
- Financial Overview: Books, Records & Controls, Financial Planning
- Managing Your Money: Cash Flow Projections, Budgets & Assumptions
The NxLeveL™ for Start-Ups 10-week business planning program is geared towards those in the idea or pre-venture stage, and/or those who have been in business for less than 18 months. This class looks to help emerging entrepreneurs with developing their business concept before launching their operation. Each participant receives 5 sessions of one-on-one consulting outside of class time. Participants graduate with a fully executed business plan!

- Testing the Idea: Market Research & Analysis
- Getting to the Market: Marketing Strategies
- Understanding Budgets & Financials
- Raising the Money
- Getting Started & Managing the Future
NxLeveL™ sessions begin in January and August each year. The class takes place on Monday evenings from 6:00pm-9:00pm at the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce. Registration for the upcoming session is open on our Workshops & Events Calendar; the cost is $495 per person for the Entrepreneurs class, or $395 per person for the Start-Up class. If you are an Investor in the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce, or a customer of Colorado Business Bank, there is a $50 discount. If you are interested in taking the class with other members of your business or organization, the cost for each additional member is $250 for both the Entrepreneurs and Start-Up courses (to cover the cost of materials).
Prior to the start of each session, we host free informational Briefing Meetings. Come learn about how the class can assist you and your business, see the materials that are used, and meet the instructors.
