Currently in Business

So you have started a business and been operating for an extended period of time. But where do you go from here? The South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center understands that today’s entrepreneur has many different responsibilities and tasks from day-to-day, and often does not have time to continually review their business plan and direction. We are here to help you maintain a successful operation.

We have a number of services available to entrepreneurs who are currently operating their own business, including:

  • FREE, confidential, one-on-one consulting with our experienced small business counselors. Each of our consultants has had, or currently owns, their own small business. They understand the trials and tribulations entrepreneurs encounter, and are able to draw from their own experiences and knowledge to help you take your organization where you want to go.  They also have expertise in the following areas: Business Plans; Loan Applications; Cash Flow; Sales; Public Relations, Marketing and Social Media; Strategic Financial Planning; Real Estate; Website Optimization; and Government Procurement.
To request an appointment with one of our consultants, please visit the Consulting page and fill out the form. We will use this information to match you up with the appropriate counselor for your needs.
  • Our center offers a number of programs geared specifically toward business owners who have been operating for at least two years. These programs assist with entrepreneurs with business planning, developing a strategic vision, business operations, and more. The Leading Edge™ Strategic Planning Series, Success Tracks, and Biz Tune-up Program are among the programs we offer to existing business owners. To learn more about these offerings, please visit the Special Programs page.
  • In addition to our consulting and programs, we also offer a number of workshops that are beneficial to existing entrepreneurs. Get the information you need about marketing, sales, cash flow, local lending, exporting and importing, government procurement, and other special small business topics in our Small Business Growth & Operations Series and Special Topic workshops. Classes include the Lender’s Panel, Exporting & Importing for Beginners, Cash Flow Fundamentals, and more. For class descriptions, visit the Workshop Descriptions page, and register to attend the next sessions on the Workshops & Events Calendar page.
