Interested in working with the South Metro Denver SBDC, but have a few questions about our center and how we operate? Look through our "Frequently Asked Questions" to learn more about us and how we can assist you.
Q. Is there a fee for one-on-one, confidential consulting?
A. No, there is no charge for our clients to utilize our business counseling. All consulting fees are covered through a grant we receive from the U.S. Small Business Administration and community corporate sponsorships who match our grant.
Q. How do I sign-up for an appointment with a business consultant?
A. Visit the "Consulting" page of our website and fill-out the information requested on that page. When you click the "Submit" button, that form is sent to our office. Once we enter you into our system and review the information you submitted, we will give you a call to determine the next steps and to begin your work with our center.
Q. I have an appointment at your office, but I'm not sure where you are located?
A. The South Metro Denver Small Business Development Center is located within the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce in Centennial, Colorado. To view the address and contact information for the Chamber, visit the "Consulting Locations" page of our website.
Q. I'd like to attend one of your workshops. How do I register?
A. Please visit the "Workshops/Events Calendar" to see our upcoming classes. Scroll down the page until you find the event you would like to attend, enter the number of people who will be attending in the "Quantity" box, and click "Add to Cart." Follow the prompts and enter the requested information; this will allow us to enter your into our system and complete your registration. After you complete this process, you should receive an email containing an invoice to confirm you are registered for the class.
Q. Where are your workshops held?
A. Our workshops are conducted at libraries and educational institutions across the South Metro Denver area. To learn more about the locations where our classes are held, including the address and contact information for each facility, visit the "Workshop Locations" page of our website.
Q. Is it possible to offer my training or workshops to SBDC clients?
A. At this time, based on surveys and needs assessment tools, we have all the topics and instructors we need at the South Metro Denver SBDC. If we should need additional workshop topics or instructors in the future, this would be posted on our web site.
Q: How can I offer my expertise as a consultant to SBDC clients?
A: At this time, we have all of the one-on-one consultants needed at the South Metro Denver SBDC. If we should need additional consultants in the future, we will post a notice on our website.
Q: Is it possible to offer my products or services to SBDC clients?
A: Since our client base is confidential, it is not possible for us to market your products or services to our clients.
